Lauren became interested in Massage Therapy soon after becoming visually impaired and legally blind in 2013 from Stargardt Disease. After overcoming many obstacles, Lauren knew she had to use her special talent of heightened sense of touch in a positive and helpful way, thus establishing Seeing Through Touch Bodywork, LLC.

Lauren graduated at the top of her class from Miller-Motte College in Wilmington North Carolina. Upon hearing of her hard work and accomplishment, North Carolina Services for the Blind proudly presented Lauren with an electric massage table for her excellence and courage for establishing Seeing Through Touch Bodywork, LLC.

While our treatments cater specifically to what each client needs, Lauren thoroughly enjoys giving a Deep Tissue massage.

When Lauren isn’t giving massages, you can find her walking with her ”Guiding Eyes for the Blind” guide dog. Both work as a great team. Lauren also enjoys kayaking, hiking and swimming.

Lynne, also a graduate of Miller-Motte College in Wilmington, NC, knew her daughter, Lauren would need to find a career after becoming blind and gratefully accepted the challenge of assisting her through Massage Therapy school.

Lynne studied Esthetics at Empire Beauty School and is known in the area for her extremely relaxing facial treatments. Lynne also offers a variety of massage services ranging from Swedish to Deep Tissue Therapeutic Massage.

Lynne and her husband reside in Holderness, NH after relocating from North Carolina. She enjoys every outdoor activities when she is not practicing her massage, waxing and facial services.
